Written by Emmanuel Boursault and Guy Lefevre, this bookshould be used as a complementary work to the traditional Drum methods.
This method introduces the players to repetitions, coda, D.C. Fill, different measures (3/8, 5/8, 5/4) and improvisation among others aspects ofthe rhythms. Déchiffrages Pour Batterie - Vol. 1 also uses a manuscript font in order for the student to become familiar with the kind of sheet music they could face in their everyday work.
