The individual pieces of his work may be considered to be the forerunners of 'programme' music. Spring, Summer,Autumn and Winter are masterpieces of Baroque music and adapt excellently for recorder ensemble. For this piece, I have assembled various extracts in a single unified musical form for descant recorder and piano. |
